Palermo Rural
The Exhibition of Livestock, Agriculture, and International Industry, officially known as La Rural or Palermo or the Buenos Aires Fairgrounds, is the annual event organized by the Argentine Rural Society at its fairgrounds in Palermo, Buenos Aires. It usually takes place during the month of July, although it used to extend into the first half of August. It is considered the most important and traditional agricultural exhibition in Argentina.
Until 2022, 133 editions have been celebrated, and over the years, it has become the most significant business platform for the agro-industrial community, serving as a meeting point for producers, contractors, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and technicians from Argentina and around the world.
The event is mainly recognized for its livestock exhibition, showcasing different species and breeds. However, it also features a strong presence of agriculture, industry, commerce, and agricultural education.
